Does iCarMode add Apple CarPlay to my car?
No. iCarMode is a dashboard app that runs on your iPhone or iPad. It gives you a focused driving interface, but it does not convert the car’s system into Apple CarPlay.
Do I need to install new car hardware?
No new stereo is required. You will want a secure phone or tablet mount, plus the same charging or audio connection you normally use in your car.
Can I use it in portrait and landscape?
Yes. You can use the orientation that best fits your device, mount and dashboard.
Is it suitable for an iPad?
Yes. An iPad can be a useful choice for a larger dashboard display, provided it is installed securely and legally in your vehicle.
